actually, i just finished baking and that's the reason why my hand mixer {still saving for that kitchenaide ;-)} was out.
this photo includes things i am in love with right now. bananas on a green plate. green water pitcher. green oven mittens in the background. my hand mixer with green buttons/controls. and JP's lego in a green container.
i love bananas. i love green. i love to bake. and i love JP's lego {a gift from ninang yoyin} because it keeps him busy while i do my housework. no 'mommy, dito ka. wala akong kasama' because of this lego. :-D
and one other thing i love: blog candies! carla is so generous to share some of her Making Memories Chloes Closet stuff to a lucky reader/commenter. so go on and visit her.
i love seeing everyone's project 365 photos! :)
ReplyDeletewhat did you end up baking? :)
hugs,
sarah.
onga what did you bake? hmmm banana muffin? yummy!
ReplyDeletebelated hapi V day to you!
Hi, Tna! Thanks for passing by my blog. The peanut butter cookies were really great although I did make it too thick. Next time, I'll ask my DS to flatten it a bit. he-he...Like you, I've also been dying to get my own KitchenAide but everytime I check on the price, I can't help but cringe and just walk away.
ReplyDeleteSo can I share a little secret? If you have time, try to pass by Makro & check out the Protech Meat Processor. If you don't blink twice, you'll think it was a KitchenAide selling for just P3,999. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it! The paddle, the whisk, dough "hook" was exactly the same as KA! I should know because my Mom had about 3 of those machines a long time ago. I took about a good 15 minutes to decide whether I should get one. Of course I did & boy was I glad I did! That's why I've renewed my first love and have baking a lot more lately...
Let me know if you see one. No harm in checking it out. (I got mine from Makro Cubao just this January)
thanks girls for dropping by my blog. i actually did a lot of baking when i took that photo. brownies, smittenkitchen's peanut butter cookies and ina garten's white chocolate chunk chocolate cookies. we don't actually like chocolate (hihihi). we love it.
ReplyDeletethose bananas are actually for our banana diet which {i am sad to say} we were not able to follow through. :(
